All right, guys, I think it's become apparent that I am generally inactive and horrendously behind on everything.  I just finished replying to comments etc. that were made in August..... I had no idea I was that far behind!  Things are wonderfully crazy on this end of things, and I think that I'm going to have to throw in the towel and say that I am now away from dA until further notice.  I will try and pop in as often as possible for updates and to check out all the lovely deviations in my inbox.  I'll be appearing as a vendor at a few upcoming fairs, and have some other extremely exciting projects on the go right now that are going to take

this week was a very special one for me.  the poets who participated in the january retreat i attended were published in a chapbook edited by mr. patrick lane himself.  we had a launch for the chapbook last night on vancouver island, and it was an extraordinary event.  patrick wrote a breathtaking introduction for the book, and the first thing in it was a quote from my poem.  i was absolutely floored to read it, and had to stop myself from crying.  patrick lane and his wife lorna crozier were the first poets i ever picked up when i was young, and they're the ones who made me want to write poetry for the rest of my life.  simply to know patric
